Piston Engine
thingiverse
This is a model of a piston engine inspired by Neophyte's Air Powered Motor (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7792). It's written in OpenSCAD, allowing you to modify all parameters and even animate it for fun. The parts are easy to print, and clearance between moving parts can be adjusted parametrically. Why not add valves and create a real one that operates on compressed air? To use the model, download it, view with OpenSCAD, access the assembly in toyEngine.scad, or print the parts from toyEngineParts.scad/stl files aligned for printing.
With this file you will be able to print Piston Engine with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Piston Engine.
