Recently, the nuts, bolts, and holes in the design have been enlarged to facilitate printing. If desired, actual M3 bolts can be utilized instead of the printed ones. The model features a functional piston and rod with wristpin, threaded rod bolts, washers, and nuts. In place of the real wristpin retainer, which might be challenging, two tapered pins were created to fit at angles within the piston. This design is 100% parametric, but it may require adjustments when scaling due to proportion issues. The parts are distributed over three plates: rod half, piston with wristpin, and bolts, washers, nuts, and tapered pins for the wristpin. Assembly instructions include attaching the two rod halves, placing nuts in nut traps on the rods, aligning the wristpin holes, and pressing the tapered pins into the wristpin. If necessary, glue can be used to join the rod halves. The nuts and bolts plate may require slicing with the thinnest layer height possible; if threads are too small for use, real M3 nuts and bolts can substitute.
