A 3D printable single-acting piston is my entry for the Makerbot giveaway. This design features an open top cylinder where air is forced under the piston rod, lifting it up. To lower the piston, release the air. Print the cylinder and piston rod separately; attach them with a snug fit using a file and calipers.
