Hey, I just completed my fourth project and it's a fully functional Napoleon-style cannon. I made use of PLA plastic and spray paint to give it a brown, chrome, and copper finish, but be aware - don't paint any parts because the glue won't hold! The mechanism is pretty straightforward (check out the picture), and I employed elastic for this purpose. Next up, I'll post a video showing my cannon in action.
