Pistolet-mitrailleur Sten
sketchfab
This British submachine gun from the 1940s has become a symbol of resistance during World War II. It was massively parachuted to guerrilla fighters, particularly after the June 1944 invasion. This weapon fires over 500 rounds per minute. Easy to disassemble and maintain, light (3kg) and small in size (76cm), it easily concealed itself. However, it has several drawbacks. It frequently jammed and especially, once loaded, it could unexpectedly trigger a burst of bullets. Inventory number: MR 1983.11.1 from the collections of the Royan Museum (17 - France). Three-dimensional digitization: Eva and Spider scanners - Artec3D.
