They Are People Too You would be surprised at how many people think that humans are somehow less capable than animals. They believe that we need to be treated like pets, coddled and cared for because we are fragile and weak. But the truth is, humans are incredibly resilient. We can survive in almost any environment, from the freezing tundra to the scorching desert. We have adapted to live in every corner of the globe, from the frozen north to the scorching equator. And yet, despite our incredible abilities, we are often treated like fragile creatures that need to be protected from ourselves. We are told what to do, how to think, and even what to believe. We are constantly being patronized and talked down to, as if we were children who can't take care of themselves. But humans are not children. We are capable adults who deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. We should be encouraged to make our own decisions, to think for ourselves, and to live our lives on our own terms. So the next time you see a human being treated like an animal, remember that they are people too. They have thoughts, feelings, and desires just like you do. And they deserve to be treated with kindness, compassion, and respect.
