pistol holster 1911
thingiverse
We created a basic Tinkercad model for a quick pistol holster that works well with a 1911 subcompact, but also fits a 1922 Browning and likely other models too. The goal is to mount this holster under a table, behind a chair, or in the center console of a vehicle, giving you easy access when needed. We printed our model using ABS plastic with a nozzle temperature of 245 degrees Celsius and a bed temperature of 115 degrees for the first layer, then switched to 235 degrees Celsius and 110 degrees for the rest of the print. Printer Settings Printer Brand: Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .20 Infill: 35 Notes: Our initial print was a bit small once complete, so we scaled it up by 25% and tried again. This required some trimming to fit the front sight and lower barrel perfectly, but the result is a snug, secure fit that works well. If you have a larger pistol, you might consider going with a 30% scale for an even better fit.
