This is a 3D model of a pistachio nut. It was designed for realistic renderings, close-ups, stills, and animation. The pistachio model is ready to be added to your scene without any adjustments needed. Meshes: The pistachio model comes as a single mesh in two versions. The mesh is quad-based. The base model has 5,580 polygons. A high-detail model is included in .max and .obj formats, with 631k quads. The shell and the nut are not merged so they can be used separately if needed. Materials: The .max 2014 files come with Corona(1.5) and Vray(3.4) materials. Other versions have basic materials that need to be adjusted according to your specific software. Maps: Ten maps are provided with this model, in two versions: 8192×8192 16bit PNGs and 2048×2048 JPGs for a total of twenty maps. Five maps are for the outer shell and five other maps are for the nut itself. The maps include ao, diffuse, specular, normal, displacement. The pistachio model is uvw unwrapped. Formats: The original file was created in 3ds Max 2014 with Corona and Vray materials (1.5 and 3.4). You will receive a 3DS, OBJ, LWO, FBX, SKP, C4D, 3DM, and MAX file(2014). If you need any other format please inquire via the website. Information: All preview images were rendered with Corona. You will get only the pistachio model and not the scenes used for the preview renders.
