Pirate Ship
pinshape
I built a pirate ship for my five-year-old that's actually pretty cool. The hidden cargo hold and crows nest are perfect for little figures to play with. I haven't tested it yet, but I think it might be top-heavy, so you'll likely need to add some weight to the bottom if you want it to float. The print is easy - just place the ship right side up, multiply the mast, and print two flat sides down. Next, print ten cannons and glue them together. The cargo hold cover simply sits on top. Print two railings flat side down and attach them to the deck. They might be a tad too long, but that's okay. Finally, add the steering wheel - I'm not sure what it's called in pirate terms, though! You'll also notice little clip things on the mast for attaching a sail. With this ship, you'll be singing "yo ho ho" in no time.
