Pirate Blade addon - for failed "Collapsing Pirate Sword"
thingiverse
If your print of "https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3597069" failed, due to the segments getting fused together.... You can use this as a jump start to print a somewhat matching (static) blade for it, and just glue it on. This worked out well. You will need to scale up so the diameter of the male end matches your physical print. Mine was 15mm since I have a small printer and had scaled the original sword down to 50%. Also, the male end is 5mm simply because that's how much of the "material" I ended up "digging out" when I was trying to pry loose the blade segments hoping it could be salvaged. I'll attach pics to show the point. NOTE: this is just the static blade, assuming you've already printed the original retractable sword (handle), and want to attach a blade to it. This of course is a "pirate style" blade. The "sharp edge" on the blade is not perfect, it was just a quick test; If I were to print it again, I'd probably tweak it up a bit more so it could be sharp on both ends, and up through to the tip as well. When I printed I used supports, and printed laying flat, as I was skeptical that my printer would have issues printing vertical (stability of the model would likely fail). This object was edited in Tinkercad.
