Here's how it all came together: A Concept Born from the Cosmos I drew inspiration from a vintage painting in the Old Terran Trade Authority Books - a true gem of intergalactic art. The image sparked an idea for a futuristic alien fighter plane that I couldn't resist bringing to life. Getting Down to Business The design process began with Sketchup, where I crafted the initial concept and brought it into 3D form. Once I was satisfied with the design, I exported it as a .dae file for use in Second Life, a virtual world that allowed me to see my creation in action. Finally, I converted the model to an .stl format, making it ready for printing. The Finished Product With the design complete and the files in order, all that was left was to bring this alien fighter plane to life - literally. Using the 3D printed parts, I assembled the aircraft, adding details and finishing touches along the way. The end result is a truly one-of-a-kind piece of art that's sure to inspire anyone who lays eyes on it.
