Piranha
3docean
One of my first successful attempts at creating a 3D animal in Blender was a ferocious piranha fish, featuring an image texture and normal map. The model turned out well, despite a few issues with UV mapping and the model itself. I'm pleased with the result, and I hope you like it too. Included in the download: - .blend, .obj, .3ds, .fbx extensions - Low poly (570 tris) and high poly (44,672 tris) versions of the model for games or animation/film - Image texture and normal map - Basic rig for animation P.S. I use Blender to do all my 3D modeling and animating. Because of that, some extensions don't export well or import poorly back into Blender; there are generally a few issues with formats other than .blend. If you have Blender, I recommend using the .blend file; it's all set up and ready to go. The 3DS format imports with flat shading and without materials or textures. It does keep UV maps though, and the faces are triangulated. The OBJ format imports without materials or textures but keeps a UV map. The FBX format imports without materials or textures but contains a UV map and only extension that retains the rig, which is out of scale for some reason.
