This is a protective casing designed for the popular PIR sensor module, available at Adafruit's online store: https://www.adafruit.com/product/189. The enclosure has a 20-degree downward tilt. It comes with three interchangeable lids - one without any side or top flaps, another with 5mm flaps, and a third with 10mm flaps. These flaps can help prevent the sensor from detecting objects that are not directly in front of it and below it. This type of setup is often used to trigger an electronic door release when someone approaches the entrance.
