Simple Mount for a PIR Sensor with Backplate/Attachment. 09-01-2018: Added Similar Design with Additional Flat Surface for Attachment (the hole will accept an M3 threaded screw - the screw will self-create threads). Note: The PIR attachment (also used for Laser and PhotoResistor attachments in other posts) works in conjunction with the BackPlate. To enable pivoting of sensors, use the BackPlate (not particularly necessary for the PIR as its sensing range is sufficient but useful for mounting). I employ 6mm plastic pellets (Airsoft or similar) as pivot bearings. Securely attach the PIR to the mount using a suitable adhesive.
