PIR Sensor Housing with XLR port HD-SR501
thingiverse
I created this straightforward enclosure for a pir sensor, providing ample space for a XLR chassis mount connector. This allows you to run a long xlr cable and securely fasten the sensor at its end. The design will accommodate an Neutrik D Series hole, making it theoretically compatible with any of the d-series range. I employed a Male XLR Chassis mount in this project. I'm also a strong proponent of utilizing threaded Brass inserts for screw holes. They last significantly longer than direct screwing into printed parts. This part is specifically designed to utilize 2 x M3X6X4 inserts, which can be obtained from ebay at £1.50 for approximately 100 units. To melt them in place, a soldering iron is used. If you prefer not to use these inserts, I've included all the CAD files, enabling you to remix and adapt as needed.
With this file you will be able to print PIR Sensor Housing with XLR port HD-SR501 with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on PIR Sensor Housing with XLR port HD-SR501.
