PIR DSLR Sensor
thingiverse
Here is a DIY project inspired by Camtraption's sensor - a similar setup, achieved at a lower cost, with nearly all components designed and built myself. I designed the PCB from scratch, ensuring it meets my requirements. The case for the sensor was also designed by me, providing a snug fit and protection against the elements. For the outer box, I opted for an affordable alternative to Pelicase's high-end options, selecting the Basetech 658800 model available at Conrad.com. To ensure weatherproofing and secure window installation, I created custom 3D printed parts that perfectly fit the bill.
