The Ohio Class submarine model is remarkably detailed and built close to scale. It features an array of animatable parts such as a propeller, opening hatches, retractable periscopes, antenna, and handrails. The torpedo tube doors can also be opened. Originally designed for the US Navy during the cold war with Trident I missiles, these boats were set to retire in 2002. However, they were reassigned and refitted to launch non-nuclear guided Tomahawk Cruise missiles - seven of which fit into each of the 22 launch tubes, along with Navy Seal equipment and boats. Additionally, each missile silo now houses smaller launch tubes with sub hatches covering their interiors for enhanced functionality.
