The model closely replicates actual dimensions and features animateable parts such as propeller, rudder, stabilator, ailerons, and landing gear doors. It is fully textured with included seating and available in multiple formats. For three decades, Cessna 150/152 and Piper PA-28 Cherokee (later Warrior) dominated training fleets. Introduced in early '61, the low-wing PA-28 marked a shift for Piper. Its design serves as a basis for various two-, four-, six-place singles and even twin models. The PA-28-161 Warrior II, certified in November 1976, is a four-seater landplane with a tapered wing compared to the PA-28-160.
