The Piper PA-28 Cherokee Turbo Arrow, a low-wing single-engine piston plane, was designed for family, personal transport, air taxi, and training purposes. Produced from 1960 to 2009, it competed with the Cessna 172RG, Grumman AA-5 series, Beechcraft Musketeer, and Cessna 177RG Cardinal. Arrow variants featured power between 200 to 300 horsepower, with turbocharging on some models. The aircraft also boasted retractable landing gear and a constant-speed propeller.
