Piper Camera Mount
thingiverse
This is a webcam mount designed specifically for use with a Piper printer or any other half-inch EMT conduit where you want to attach a camera. To create this mount, print the upper part on the flanges that will be bolted in place with the camera facing upwards, and then print the lower part on its side. No supports are required during printing. When it comes to attaching the camera, remove the rubber cover from the screw located at the back of the camera, then unscrew and carefully push out the pin. If you want to use this mount for viewing your printer heads, for instance, if you're trying to assess repeat-ability or offset between nozzles, simply pop off the cover, remove the three screws that hold it in place, and gently rotate the lens to adjust the focus point as needed. To secure the camera to the top of the mount, use a long M3 screw, and for holding the top and bottom parts together, use M3 screws and nuts.
