A model of the pipe wrench (also known as a Stillson wrench) was created using SolidWorks 2014. The dimensions closely resemble its real counterpart. I invite you to view this design. According to Wikipedia, a pipe wrench is specifically designed for turning soft iron pipes and fittings with rounded surfaces. Its adjustable jaw allows it to lock in the frame, ensuring that any pressure applied on the handle tightens the jaws further. The angled teeth on the tool dig into soft pipes during use. However, it is not recommended for use on hardened steel hex nuts or other fittings, as doing so can damage the head. If a nut becomes rounded beyond the reach of standard wrenches, a pipe wrench may be used to break it free. Please consolidate the SolidWorks files in the same folder if you wish to open the assembly file.
