This is a versatile mouthpiece for creating various smoking devices, bubblers and other props through a hole in a jar lid. I'm using it by passing the threads through the hole and securing them with a nut. If you experience any leakage issues, applying a dab of silicone or a rubber washer can help resolve the problem. The threads are 11mm in diameter if you want to create another nut for it. Use plenty of supports when printing this mouthpiece as it is tall and narrow, prone to falling over. It fell twice on me before I added full-length supports and gave it a 10mm brim. A safety note: be cautious with your hobbies. PLA is safe, commonly used in bottled water bottles. However, our hobby PLA filament is rarely pure PLA. Using the wrong PLA for applications involving food, drink or breathing can be hazardous. For instance, using "carbon fiber" PLA would mean inhaling strands of carbon fiber, making this object extremely dangerous to breathe through. Similarly, filaments with powdered metals embedded in them are a bad idea. Various wood species are known allergens so wood filament could cause problems too. Be smart and read the MSDS of your filament before use. The MSDS may vary for each brand and color due to different additives changing its appearance. Even if you're sure it's safe, remember that safety guidelines have specific temperature ranges. Avoid placing this model in direct contact with a flame or getting it too hot. Keep it well away from any heat source. This applies to all commercial products similar to this one as well. Don't inhale burning plastic; it's bad for your health.
