This design is intended for mounting a 20mm aluminium pipe to flat surfaces in order to use handlebar mounted accessories on flat surfaces. In practice, I designed this to be used on a boat, to attach a phone charger to my boat dashboard. There are many products available for motorcycles and bikes, but few for boats: the purpose is to allow using these accessories on any flat surface. The elements are hollow to allow a power cable to be passed through, for powering a wireless charger, or light for example. In addition to two pieces of the printed object, you will need a length of pipe with an external diameter of 20mm, I used aluminium. For mounting, the design expects 6 pcs of M3 allen bolts with a head diameter no larger than 5.5mm, these are commonly available. Stainless is recommended for outdoor use, especially for mounting on aluminium surfaces. The length of the bolts depends on your material, but 16mm should be good for most sheet metal.
