Generic mounting fixture to secure items to a pipe when needed. The first scenario involves attaching solar panels to an arch on a sailing yacht as a mounting base. To achieve this, one must figure out how to round the lower section's corners. While it's relatively simple to handle straight edges like those on the upper part, creating a corner rounding tool that follows a curved edge is more complex. It may be necessary to brush up on some math concepts. The code for this project can be found at https://github.com/saxofon/pipe-mount if anyone has insight into how to proceed. Update: With time spent learning about rotate_extrude(), the solution is nearing completion.
