This adapter will fit a 3/8 inch plastic water line, the same type used for refrigerators and dishwashers. The inner diameter is 0.371 inch, ensuring a snug fit that requires no glue. You can always scale the part from the base dimension to accommodate any desired pipe size. I needed a small strainer for my aquarium's drain pipe. A fish had died after getting stuck on the end of the pipe while I was partially draining water from the tank. To prevent further injuries, I decided to attach a small strainer. This did the job perfectly.
