Pipe Cutting Guide
thingiverse
This guide assists in cutting 2-inch PVC pipes (equally effective for ABS). It helps make straight cuts with a hand saw without the need for a miter box. To use, slide it onto the pipe and clamp on the thinner part of the ring; clamping is optional. Align the saw against the ring's edge for cutting. For different pipe sizes, refer to the Instructions tab. It takes 1 hour to print at 0.3mm layer height without support and was designed in Autodesk Fusion 360. Print with cutting surface upwards to avoid warping. To scale for other pipe sizes, use the formula: scale_value = (OD + 0.6) / 61 (multiply by 100 if percentage needed). Measure OD in mm and find standard pipe sizes at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nominal_Pipe_Size if you lack calipers.
