The ancient pipe originates from the Popeta sector, located in Central Chile. Its central burner and two inhalation holes at either end suggest shared usage. This relic is part of our museum's inaugural collection and was meticulously illustrated by Claudio Gay, its first director, in his seminal publication: "Atlas of the Physical and Political History of Chile", published in 1854.
