Pipal ficus plant 3D model

Here's a 3D model I created using Autodesk Maya. It depicts an ancient Indian fig tree, specifically a Pipal tree (Ficus religiosa). The design blends realism with simplicity to provide artists with flexibility when creating scenes in various settings. The base mesh was first created as a rough box and then edited into its distinctive shape. Its leaves are modeled individually, complete with subtle shading on the veins for an added sense of authenticity. Next, textures were applied - the main focus being a realistic bark finish. Subtle leaf movement was also simulated by generating a basic wind effect in Blender. This Pipal tree 3D model will give artists plenty to work with when they're tasked with designing a variety of scenes that call for this ancient tree.
