Name: Chess Pieces. Made in a bunker where Jewish people from Kolomyya hid during World War II. A complete set of chess pieces made by Pola Najder (1917-97) during World War II, when she and her husband, along with eight others, hid in a bunker in Kolomyya. Due to the lack of paint, all pieces are the same color. To distinguish between black and white, half of them were marked with an "X" from underneath.
