In the Iberian Peninsula, these types of pliers were already known in contexts from the Final Bronze period, although with a smaller size. During the Iberian era, the pliers eventually became part of funerary treasures, specifically for warriors. In this case, they were found in the area of the Torre Alba sanctuary, buried in the ground as an offering along with other objects, such as Greek ceramics or the bear's claw. On one end, the fabric has fossilized where it was wrapped when deposited in the location.
