Pint mason jar base for fogging

This simple adapter helps keep the fogger standing upright when you set it down, making it easier to use. Burgess 1443 Propane Fogger Many beekeepers rely on a propane fogger to treat their honey bees with oxalic acid to eliminate varroa mites. They often replace the plastic reservoir with standard glass Mason jars, which hold up better to the acid and provide a clear view of how much is left. This adapter fits a standard Ball pint-sized Mason jar with a regular mouth, as shown in the images. I chose the classic version with raised print instead of smooth-sided jars for easier handling. It should also fit Mason brand jars, but I haven't tested it yet. I printed one adapter in red to mark the acid mix and another in green for the rinse water. They will stay on the jars so I can easily identify which is which. For added safety, I'm using store-bought plastic lids instead of printing my own. The highly corrosive nature of oxalic acid and its vapors demands extra caution.
