Pinstax - the Instant Pinhole camera project

The Pinstax - A Revolutionary Pinhole Camera Design Built specifically for the Fujifilm Instax instant film and using a custom designed back for the Lomography Diana F+ camera, the Pinstax offers a new level of creativity for photography enthusiasts. By combining pinhole technology with the small format Instax Mini, photographers can now enjoy the beautiful painterly quality of pinhole photography without the long exposure times that normally come with it. The camera's speed, ISO 800, is remarkably fast for an instant film setup, making it a thrilling prospect for those looking to capture the moment in a highly creative and artistic way. Additionally, the camera features no reciprocity failure - ensuring that your photos look just as sharp indoors as they do outdoors, which eliminates the usual limitations associated with traditional pinhole photography. Pinstax has been created by adapting technology from previous pinhole cameras featured in my Pinhead series, specifically designed for 3D printing. This camera was originally shared on Hackaday and I'm thrilled to announce its success has inspired countless builders around the world who now share their unique builds using similar pinhole principles - and these fantastic contributions have further amplified this concept. Despite minor drawbacks like high expense due mainly because we had low resolution in print - a challenge that only recent upgrades may begin tackling right away.
