Pinocchio Ball Jointed Doll
prusaprinters
A ball-jointed Pinocchio, loosely based off of the style in 'Shrek' . Designed for printing in SLA (If you try printing in FDM, please let me know how it goes!) You'll need a handful of rubber bands and some 'pins' to put him together. I included a printable 'pin' - but honestly, you may be better off using cuts from a bamboo skewer, a popsicle stick, a q-tip, fdm filament, etc. The pin serves to hold the rubber band to the wrist/ankle, and depending on the brittleness of your resin, you may want something stronger. You can also glue his torso-back and head-back, or use small, 3mm magnets to allow easy removability. I had a 'deadline' for this model - so it is far from prefect. Currently, his had needs to be glued on, but if someone decides to remix this model, it would likely be better if it were magnets/screwed-in/etc. Also, instead of using removable pins, it could probably be designed to use fixed pegs/hooks in the palms & soles of the feet. But alas, no time. He does not have great 'poseability' (some scalloping in the joint-cups would help) but all I wanted was a jiggly little puppet guy (and to test BJD design) and this was very helpful for that.
