PinkyPi X - GamePi15 Raspberry Pi Zero Game Console
thingiverse
PinkyPi X is the latest addition to the Pinky Pi lineup, built around the Waveshare Gamepi15 game hat for the Raspberry Pi Zero. A precompiled RetroPie image can be downloaded from the PinkyPi X RetroPie Image on CrackedConsole.com. This image is based on RetroPie 4.5.1 and features the PiSNES emulator, MAME, NES, and other popular emulators. For full details, visit our forums at CrackedConsole.com/community/raspberrypi-gaming/pinkypi-x-build-log-raspberry-pi-zero-and-gamepi15-hat-gaming-device/. Control options include a D-Pad, larger D-Pad, or arrow keys. Choose the top half that matches your preference: either arrow keys or one of the D-Pad options. In my opinion, I prefer the arrow keys due to their ease of use. If you choose the D-Pad option, select from two designs: a concave D-Pad and a 2-piece larger/flat D-Pad. The latter is designed for 3D printing and assembly, requiring glue to hold it together. Arrow Keys are intentionally made smaller and loose-fitting to prevent edge snagging during intense play or diagonal key presses. To print, you'll need the top (either D-pad or arrow keys), base, buttons, and volume control (optional).
