cgtrader
This model of Oxystele sinensis (The pink lipped topshell) was created using photogrammetry from a real shell. Included with this purchase are: 5 LOD stages with separate obj and fbx files A blender file containing all LOD stages 4096x4096 and 1024x1024 texture, normal maps (tangent space, object space, world space), and ambient occlusion maps Three unity packages (HQ, Medium, Small) preconfigured with working LODs - simply import them then drag and drop the prefab into your scene Additional information: Preview images were rendered using blender's renderer. The LOD stages in the blender file are on layers 2-6, and can be viewed by pressing the corresponding number in the 3D view. All five LOD stages share the same UV layout, so only one set of textures needs to be loaded into memory at runtime. However, some texture deterioration occurs on low-poly LOD stages (see preview image #8). This effect has been minimized by carefully choosing UV seams to hide it. LOD Stages LOD0: 28,512 faces LOD1: 15,335 faces LOD2: 5,060 faces LOD3: 2,024 faces LOD4: 202 faces The three unity packages are self-contained and have LOD configured out of the box (LOD camera distance can be easily tweaked if needed). Versions: HQ: LOD0-LOD4 is used with a 4096x4096 texture + normal map + ambient occlusion map for maximum quality, resulting in a 33.8 MB package size. Medium: LOD0-LOD4 is used with a 1024x1024 texture / normal / ambient occlusion maps instead, leading to a 5.7MB package size. Small: LOD1-LOD4 is used with a 512x512 texture / normal / ambient occlusion maps, resulting in a 2MB package size.
