I created a model of a pinion gear for my Tamiya Monster Beetle, similar to a friend's Subaru Brat. The standard pinion has 10 teeth, but my friend's is 12-tooth; thus, the adapter plate must be changed between the motor and gearbox to ensure correct meshing.
