Pinion gear for Revolution 1/18 4WD Seismic MT

I'm excited to share with you my experience with replacing the pinion gear on my Revolution 1/18 4WD Seismic MT. The original part I purchased, Pinion and Spur Gear: 1/18 4WD Seismic - RVOSS212030, has been performing well so far. As it turns out, my spur gear was still in good shape, so I didn't need to replace it yet. However, I did have to find a replacement for the pinion gear, which is an essential part of this system. After some research, I discovered that the pinion gear is not an exact replica, but rather a customized version designed using the Modulus Gear Customizer. To get the custom gear into a compatible state, I had to tweak its design until it matched the specifications of the original part. Some product details suggested that the original pinion gear was made with a modulus of 0.5, but this didn't produce a properly sized gear. After some trial and error, I was able to get the custom gear to match. I printed the custom gear using PLA+, which has held up well so far. However, it's worth noting that it's noticeably louder than the original gear.
