This DIY pinhole camera is my initial 3D printing project, featuring a 24mm focal length and compatibility with standard 135 film for 4x6 full-size photos. The suggested pinhole size ranges from 0.2 to 0.3mm, offering an 84-degree field of view. The compact design allows easy portability; I used black tape to secure the film, camera body, and back cap while ensuring light leak prevention. The cap is glued in place for further protection, with a check on light transparency. A small, critical shutter component requires 1.0 density printing parameters at 90% width for optimal light blockage; additional tape reinforcement is suggested. To load the film, I paste a plastic chip to mark photo length on the new film, which is then attached to an empty roll. Click sounds signal 8 frames per photo. Updates have been made to shutter and cap design for better light prevention. Check out the added photos for reference! Enjoy the experience! Updated designs were provided on Nov 14 and Nov 15 for further improvement.
