Pinhole Projector
thingiverse
I couldn't find a simple projector that would do multiple projections, so I designed one myself. The main version has 81 pinholes, while the x1 version only features a single pinhole. To prepare it for printing, I scale the design in my slicer to 100mm x 100mm x 1mm, which takes approximately an hour at 0.2mm layer height for the 81-hole model. Please note that this will not protect your eyes from the sun's direct rays at any time. Do not position it between your eyes and the sun. Simply hold the device up and let its shadow fall on the ground. Wherever light passes through the pinholes, you'll see a projection of the sun. If an eclipse is underway, you'll witness the corona of the sun.
