Pinhole Globe Lantern
thingiverse
These are a couple pinhole lamps of the globe I made this for the Digital Fabrication course at Laney College. The "inverted" model projects an image of the globe out, while the non-inverted model has the right surface appearance but casts an inverted image. Image projection works **much** better with dark colors, while printing in white makes for a cool glow effect. This was not created by hand: it's the output of a Fusion 360 add-in I wrote that converts spherical images into image lanterns. If you want to make your own, [check it out on GitHub](https://github.com/wan/artmachine/tree/master/ImageProjector)
