Pinhole For Canon
thingiverse
Hi I'm 14 and I made this pinhole "lens" for my canon camera using 123d Design. I've included 2 files: 1 with my name and 1 without. The design was created for my personal needs, so don't expect too much from it. Note: the one without my name doesn't have a smooth edge, but just look at the models and you'll see! Please read the txt file in the downloads! Some people seem to think that the hole is too big based on their comments, although for me it worked fine. Keep in mind that your sensor and mirror will be exposed to open air through the tiny pinhole when using this pinhole lens. This design was printed on an Ultimaker Original by @ZB45. I'd love to hear what you think about my design. Here are some photos I took with this pinhole thing: they were taken after I drilled out the hole to 1mm and covered the back with aluminum foil, poking a small hole in it afterward. However, even so, the images still come out blurry due to a large pinhole. **Instructions** Hi, When printing this design, the hole will likely be closed. To open it, take a fine file or sandpaper and start sanding from the top of the "cone". As you get closer to finishing, insert a pin or needle to create the pinhole.
