PINH5AD - a 4x5 Pinhole Camera
thingiverse
The P5 is a 4x5 film camera with a "dark slide" protection for unexposed film. It features Pinhead shutter design and a focal length of 90mm, designed for a 0.40mm pinhole with an f-stop of f/225 and a 70-degree horizontal field of view. A 150mm extension is available as well, suitable for "normal lens" exposures. The camera has open-source files and can be printed in black ABS or PLA. It requires 3mm bolts and nuts, adhesive-backed black velvet, and T-nuts for tripod mounts. Exposure times vary depending on light conditions, with 2 seconds considered the fastest effective exposure time without a remote shutter mechanism. Assembly involves gluing parts together, lining the film holder bracket with self-adhesive velvet, and attaching tripod mounts. The camera also has viewfinders for both extension lengths.
