Pingelturm Bremerhaven

Dieser Leuchtturm ist eines der Wahrzeichen von Bremerhaven. Im Volksmund "Pingelturm" genannt, lautet die offizielle Bezeichnung "Leuchtturm Kaiserschleuse". Gebaut wurde der Leuchtturm im Jahr 1900 und steht seit 1984 unter Denkmalschutz. Bei Gelegenheit plane ich, auch noch die Nebelglocke zu ergänzen, die natürlich zum Bauwerk dazu gehört. I used a python script to create the rotational symmetric profile of the tower from a set of line segments by a 3rd degree Bezier interpolation. The points themselves I took off a hand-drawn sketch based on several photographs of the tower. The cutouts and ornaments were then added on.
