Ping Pong Paddle with Strings
thingiverse
Ever wanted to bring your love for tennis into ping pong? Well then too bad - this joke paddle is made for stringing and will drastically decrease your ping pong skills. If you're using a tennis stringer as a joke, I highly recommend not putting any tension on it because the frame tends to deform or warp. Use strings that are approximately 1.15mm in diameter. You could also try using floss or a material of that sort for an alternate way of stringing. I printed this paddle in both PLA and ABS, but my PLA print deformed a lot after stringing. I didn't bother with my ABS print because it felt weaker compared to the PLA one - maybe I just suck at printing with ABS. In theory, ABS should work the best for this joke paddle. Print Settings Resolution: Any Infill: Use an infill of above 20% for the head. Notes: The paddle is separated into four parts so it fits in a 20x20 cm build platform. Post-Printing After printing the files, you'll need to glue them together. I use loctite super glue gel control - it works amazing. Arranging the pieces should be self-explanatory.
