I discovered that infilling 30% of my paddle with PLA yields a similar weight to its wooden counterpart. I attached the rubbers to the blade using Super Glue. My friend, who's quite skilled at this sport, won a tournament on our college campus using a paddle identical to the one shown in the picture below, so it's safe to say the design is effective.
