Human: Sphere anemometers rely on a simple principle to measure wind speed, using the force of air resistance on a sphere to determine velocity. This is achieved by equating the weight of the sphere with the drag force in a pendulum-like setup. Modern versions of this device utilize ping-pong balls, allowing users to measure wind velocity by determining the angle of deflection. Four STL files are available for various scales: millimeters per second (two options, engraved and 3D), knots (engraved), and miles per hour (engraved). Measuring wind velocity is straightforward without needing a conversion table. The scale features dots that are 5 degrees apart, with two vertical dots indicating zero angle.
