Pinewood Derby Track BSA Cub Scouts

We were searching for a Pinewood Derby Track design to create for our Cub Scout pack when we discovered www.nerdyderby.com's modern and clever track design, perfect for making in a home workshop from plywood. The Nerdy Derby track files can be found at the following location: https://github.com/NerdyDerby/mainTrack_2015_1. We adapted this track design concept to fit our needs and created a 4-lane BSA-sized track. You can view a video of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JGx4jDaxig. To create an affordable timer using an Arduino Uno, we used the following resource: http://billvsderbytimers.weebly.com/. For tracking race lineups and results, we utilized this tool: http://jeffpiazza.github.io/derbynet/. These files include PDF drawings, DXF files, and Solidworks files for easy viewing. Additionally, there is a drawing/DXF of the drilling template jig to make manufacturing easier.
