Pinewood Derby Roadster Shell Free 3D print model

A roadster-shaped shell for a pinewood derby car is designed after the 1949 Snowberger-Offy Indianapolis 500 racecar. This shell sits on top of a standard pinewood derby wood block, which just needs some small cutting to fit properly (check out the instructions). March 29, 2014: A newer version of this roadster pinewood derby car gets updated with an exhaust area clean-up and four extra holes for regular cylindrical pinewood derby weights underneath. April 12, 2014: The updated roadster_body.stl is now included in addition to its standard features - this is good if you want to use a slicer that doesn't know what it's doing; these kinds of files help make the most out of any printout without breaking or not sticking properly. If anything isn't coming out right, it might just be your own fault (if I had an opinion, that is); all my photos were taken after using this specific file. The roadster model doesn't have the wheelbase length and body type which comes with these kind of shells but rather takes care to put a more sporty finish - don't forget about some cool extras!
