Are you wondering if your scale at home matches up with the official scale used at the race? Print this, stick it on your car, and fill it with BBs to fine tune the weight of your pinewood derby car. This holder can take 25 BBs, which together weigh about .25 oz, so you can set the car to weigh around 5.1 oz on your home scale. If you're too heavy at the race, just remove a few BBs until you make weight. This way, you can maximize the weight of your car and get as much speed as possible. If your home scale is way off, simply take this whole thing off to lose about 1/2 oz. If you need more than that, it's back to drilling out wood or adding weights.
