These are sides/fenders for a pinewood derby car that were designed to mirror the proportions of a real vehicle, while keeping the amount of woodwork minimal in order to create a visually appealing car. The car is regulation size, with fenders that barely protrude past the wheels and a total length of approximately 7 inches. In order to meet the weight requirement of 5oz, an additional 1oz was added.
